Malibu, a rescued cat, has officially been named the "Cutest Cat of Mechelen," charming judges and winning the hearts of the city. Malibu's journey began two years ago when she was found abandoned as a days-old kitten in Hamme. Her adoptive parents discovered her photo on adopteereendier.be and immediately took her in, providing a loving home despite her initial struggles with a severe cat flu. She was surprised when her children, Kato (18) and Tijl (16), entered Malibu into the contest without her immediate knowledge.
