Advania launches what it calls Europe’s first solution of its kind

Advania has launched Advania ALT, a new platform designed to help companies and institutions use leading artificial intelligence models securely and responsibly.

The solution gives users access to different AI models through a single interface while allowing businesses to retain control over their data, security, usage and costs. Advania describes it as the first solution of its kind available in Europe.

The company says the platform runs on computing power located in Iceland, ensuring that customer data does not leave Icelandic jurisdiction. It was also developed to meet European requirements for data protection and digital sovereignty.

Advania ALT will be offered to customers in the Nordic countries and the United Kingdom from September, with jurisdiction secured in each country. Chief Executive Hildur Einarsdóttir said Advania was proud to launch the platform after extensive development and to provide Icelandic companies and institutions with a secure, scalable foundation for their AI work.

The solution will be presented at Advania’s autumn conference in Harpa on Sept. 10. A separate AI event at the company’s headquarters on Sept. 9 will focus on building a reliable foundation for automation and artificial intelligence.
