Adylbek Kasymaliyev congratulates water-sector workers

Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliyev has congratulated the country’s water-sector workers on their professional holiday.

In his message, he said water management directly affects agricultural development, the economy and the population’s welfare. He noted that canals, reservoirs and other facilities are being built and reconstructed, while digital technologies and new equipment are being introduced across the sector.

Kasymaliyev also emphasized the importance of protecting water resources as the climate changes, glaciers shrink and water shortages grow.

“The value of every drop of water is becoming even greater. Therefore, our task is not simply to use water resources, but to conserve them carefully and pass them on to future generations,” he said. He thanked current workers and veterans for their contribution to the country’s development and wished them health, prosperity and success.
