Afghanistan Stable, Expanding International Ties: Minister

In a clear assertion of national sovereignty and progress, Afghanistan's Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, Mullah Noorullah Noori, has declared the nation to be stable and actively broadening its international relationships. Speaking at a gathering in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, Noori issued a stern warning to any entity harboring intentions of aggression or interference in Afghanistan's internal affairs, urging them to heed the lessons of the past.

If anyone interferes in our internal affairs or harbours intentions of aggression against Afghanistan, they should learn from the past.

Noori's remarks underscored Afghanistan's historical resilience, noting that the Afghan people have consistently repelled attempts at foreign domination. He further elaborated on the nation's economic advancements, stating that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has achieved significant self-sufficiency through determined effort. The minister also emphasized Afghanistan's secure standing on both regional and international fronts, coupled with a steady expansion of its political and economic connections.

Before the re-establishment of the IEA, differences among ethnic groups had reached a peak, but now, praise be to Allah, all Afghans enjoy mutual respect.

Adding to the positive outlook, Sheikh Noor Mohammad Haqqani, deputy minister at the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing of Complaints, reflected on the past four decades as a period of immense hardship for Afghans, commending their enduring patience and resilience. He pointed to the current unity among ethnic groups as a stark contrast to the divisions that plagued the nation previously. The Governor of Balkh, Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, reinforced this sentiment, describing the IEA as a government that emanates from the people and values their input within the bounds of Islamic Sharia. Elders present at the event echoed these views, highlighting the unprecedented national unity and the public's confidence in the current administration, a perspective that resonates deeply within Afghanistan but may be viewed differently by international observers accustomed to a different narrative.
