After Mandalika Victory, AHRT Targets Podiums at ARRC Sepang

Astra Honda Racing Team heads to Sepang with victory fresh from Mandalika and podium ambitions for the fifth round of the 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship, held at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit from September 4 to 6.

Irfan Ardiansyah won the AP250 class at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, while Herjun Atna Firdaus finished third in SS600. AHRT will again field Rheza Danica Ahrens, Irfan and Muhammad Badly Ayatullah in AP250 on Honda CBR250RR motorcycles.

For this fifth round in Malaysia, we still have the same spirit. We have improved many things so far. This week, the target is to collect as many points as possible and perform well.

Rheza is the team’s highest-ranked AP250 rider, sitting second with 92 points. Irfan is fourth with 82 points, and Badly returns to competition after recovering from an injury. Rheza said the team’s goal was to collect as many points as possible and perform well.

Irfan wants to maintain the momentum from his Mandalika win and hopes the CBR250RR can deliver another podium in Sepang. In SS600, Herjun arrives with added confidence after his third-place finish. He also has a positive record at the circuit, having reached the podium in the opening round. Herjun is fifth in the standings with 91 points and will use lessons from earlier rounds to improve his performance on the Honda CBR600RR.
