After more than 20 years: CSD Colo Colo confirms Mirko Jozic's return to Chile

A beloved figure in Chilean football, Croatian coach Mirko Jozic, is set to return to Chile after more than two decades. The Club Social y Deportivo Colo Colo announced that Jozic will arrive on September 8 for a series of events and tributes organized in his honor.

Jozic, who is celebrated for guiding Colo Colo to their historic 1991 Copa Libertadores victory, will remain in the country until September 20. His visit was facilitated by the club's social organization and the contributions of its members.

Edmundo Valladares, president of CSD Colo-Colo, expressed his delight at the news. He emphasized that the return was made possible by the club's supporters. "We are very happy to announce that Mirko will be in Chile from September 8 to 20. This return is achieved thanks to the members of our institution. They are the ones bringing Mirko," Valladares stated, inviting fans to participate in the planned activities.
