After two fair days, a cyclone and rain zone will approach Lithuania

High pressure will strengthen over Lithuania on Monday, bringing some breaks in the clouds. Thicker cloud will move through western districts, and isolated lower clouds may produce brief rain. Winds will blow moderately from the southwest and west, while daytime temperatures reach 17 to 22 C.

Tuesday night will remain changeable but largely dry. Winds will be light and turn southerly, with temperatures falling to 8 to 13 C, or about 14 to 16 C on the coast. During the day, the high-pressure system will retreat eastward as a low-pressure field gradually approaches from the west. Cloud will thicken again, with brief rain in some places, and warmer air will lift temperatures to 19 to 24 C.

A cyclone with a rain zone will approach Lithuania on Wednesday night. Cloud will cover the country, and intermittent rain will spread across many districts. A cold atmospheric front will cross the country during the day, bringing more cloud and continuing rain, although temperatures will remain warm at 20 to 25 C.

Another low-pressure system will move north from the south on Thursday. Short periods of rain will continue in many areas, with daytime temperatures generally around 15 to 20 C. Eastern districts may reach 21 to 25 C. Rain will become more scattered on Friday, while winds from the west and southwest strengthen during the day to 8 to 13 meters per second. The weekend should be less rainy, but a significant return of warmer weather is not expected.
