AGF faces Azerbaijan or Finland in Champions League hunt

Danish football club AGF has learned its potential opponents in the third round of Champions League qualifying. Should the Danish champions overcome Polish side Lech Poznan over two legs, they will face the winner of the match between Sabah FK of Azerbaijan and Finland's KuPS. The draw, conducted by UEFA, sets up a potential clash in either Azerbaijan or Finland for AGF.

AGF's journey towards the Champions League begins with a challenging tie against Lech Poznan. The Polish club is managed by Niels Frederiksen, a Danish coach. The first leg of this crucial encounter is scheduled for Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. Notably, the match will not be played at AGF's home ground. Due to their stadium not meeting European competition standards, AGF has arranged to play at the home of their rivals, Cepheus Park, in Randers.
