Agricultural vehicle overturns in Ordu, Turkey, killing two and injuring eleven

Two people died and eleven others were injured when an agricultural vehicle, known locally as a "patpat," overturned in the Ordu province of Turkey. The incident occurred in the Başönü neighborhood.

The vehicle was being driven by İsa Öztürk when it overturned. Emergency services and police were dispatched to the scene. Initial assessments confirmed the deaths of Ramazan Öztürk and Adile Demirbağ, who were passengers in the vehicle.

The driver, İsa Öztürk, along with eleven other passengers identified as Asuman, Fatih, Ayhan, Eyüp, Dilber, Melek, Alperen, Resul Demirboğa, Murat Derin, and Murat Bez, sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals for treatment.

Governor Muammer Erol traveled to Ünye district to visit the injured individuals at Ünye State Hospital. He offered condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those hospitalized. "We wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in this sad accident, and we offer our condolences to their families and loved ones. We also wish urgent healing to our injured citizens," Erol stated. A judicial and administrative investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated.
