Aguascalientes Offers Free Medical Care at 85 Health Centers, 12 Operating 24/7

The government of Aguascalientes offers free medical attention to its residents through 85 health centers operated by the Institute of Health Services (ISEA). Of these facilities, 12 provide round-the-clock medical services.

The comprehensive range of services available to individuals without social security includes general medical consultations, free medication, universal vaccination, health promotion and prevention programs, dental care, family planning, psychological support, nutritional guidance, electrocardiograms, vasectomies, and screenings for breast cancer.

In addition to the ISEA centers, the state, under Governor Tere Jiménez, also runs eight Popular Health Insurance clinics. These clinics offer the aforementioned services, along with access to clinical laboratory testing, mammography, and optometry services.

To access these services, residents must present copies of specific documents: official identification, Unique Population Registry Code (CURP), proof of address, and a letter confirming they are not beneficiaries of other social security programs.
