Air Arabia to resume direct flights to Bishkek and Osh from UAE

Air Arabia is set to reintroduce direct flights connecting Sharjah with Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan. The airline plans to restart the Sharjah-Osh-Sharjah route on June 22, 2026, followed by the Sharjah-Bishkek-Sharjah route on July 3, 2026.

The agreement for the resumption of these services was reached during a working meeting between Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzstan Airports, and a delegation from the United Arab Emirates. This development is expected to broaden Kyrgyzstan's transport accessibility and bolster collaboration with the UAE.

Officials from Kyrgyzstan Airports highlighted that the re-establishment of these flight routes will create additional opportunities for tourists, business partners, and citizens of both countries. The discussions also covered the future expansion of aviation cooperation, including broadening the route network, increasing passenger traffic, and fostering tourism, business, and economic ties.

These flights were temporarily suspended in March 2026 following a conflict that arose between the USA, Israel, and Iran. The resumption is anticipated to facilitate smoother travel and economic exchanges between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.
