Airlines report 352 major flight defects till June, Akasa and Air India top list

Indian airlines reported a total of 352 significant flight defects between January and June of this year, with Akasa Air and Air India topping the list of airlines with the most issues. Union minister of state for civil aviation Murlidhar Mohol provided the figures, noting that the vast majority of these defects occurred on domestic flights.

Out of the 352 major defects logged, 334 were identified in aircraft operating within India's domestic air travel network. This indicates a concentrated problem within the country's internal flight operations, affecting a substantial number of journeys for Indian passengers.
