Al Baha cycling tour completes third stage across mountain routes

The Al Baha Cycling Tour has completed its third stage, drawing more than 130 cyclists to race through the region's scenic mountain routes. The five-stage event, held under the patronage of Al Baha Emir Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud and supervised by the Ministry of Sport's Al Baha branch, is designed to blend competitive racing with exploration of the area's natural beauty and heritage sites.

The tour spans over 370 kilometers, with the latest stage taking participants through Al Baha city and the governorates of Al Mandaq, Al Makhwah, and Bani Hassan. This route highlights the region's diverse terrain and panoramic views, offering a unique combination of athletic challenge and sightseeing.

Organizers state the event is a key component of efforts to boost sports tourism and promote active, healthy lifestyles. It aligns with the broader objectives of the Al Baha Summer 2026 program, aiming to leverage the region's attractions to encourage both local and international participation in sports and tourism.
