Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara promotes Raja Ganesan to Food & Beverage Manager

Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara has announced the promotion of Raja Ganesan to the position of Food & Beverage Manager. In his new role, Ganesan will be responsible for all dining venues and culinary operations at the luxury beachfront resort.

Ganesan has been an integral part of the resort's team since 2021, initially joining as Head Sommelier before his promotion to Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in 2023. His tenure has been marked by strong operational leadership, a dedication to guest service, and a deep understanding of high-end food and beverage experiences.

With nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry across Oman and the Maldives, Ganesan has a significant career history within Minor Hotels. His previous roles include positions at Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, Naladhu Private Island Maldives, and Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. His career trajectory, from bartender and sommelier to senior management, highlights his commitment to the field.

His expertise encompasses food and beverage operations, beverage management, outlet leadership, team development, and luxury guest engagement. Ganesan also holds professional certifications in Food Protection and Wines. He will now oversee the resort's key dining establishments, including the Asian fusion restaurant Mekong, the Mediterranean-inspired Al Mina, and the all-day dining restaurant Sakalan, in addition to in-villa dining and bar operations.
