Alan Hržica to hold solo concert in Zagreb, preparing new album

Alan Hržica, a leading figure in contemporary spiritual music, is set to hold a major solo concert at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb on October 14. This event marks 15 years of his dedicated work in the genre and is a highlight of his "God's Love, God's Strength" tour.

At the concert in Lisinski, top musicians will join us, and after that, I am preparing a new album.

For Hržica, a former star of the pop-dance scene, this concert represents his first solo performance in his hometown of Zagreb in three years. He expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate his spiritual music journey, acknowledging that he once had very different life plans. The upcoming concert is seen as the perfect way to conclude the current year, with plans for more dynamic performances in major cities next year.

I must admit that when the first news about the tour came out, I was grateful and happy that it was all happening. However, I felt that something was missing. We were missing that one concert in Zagreb, my hometown, because I haven't performed there for three years.

Attendees can expect a musically rich experience at the Lisinski Hall. Hržica plans to collaborate with top musicians, who will join his band to give his songs a new dimension. While the event will maintain a solemn and dignified atmosphere befitting the venue, it will also be a celebration, reflecting Hržica's personal expression of faith through his music.

The concert in Lisinski is on my mind every day. I constantly think about how it should look, creativity is working at full speed, and new ideas are constantly emerging.

Beyond the concert, Hržica is preparing to release a new album. He also recently experienced personal joy, as he and his wife Ricarda welcomed their third child, Ricardo, in June, joining their two older sons, David and Leon. Hržica shared his thoughts on the concert, his family, and future plans in an interview with Večernji list.

After 15 years of engaging in Christian spiritual music, I feel deep gratitude that I recognized God's call and had the courage to answer it, although in my youth I had completely different plans, desires, and visions for my life.
