Alan Walker's company pays out 40 million kroner dividend despite revenue drop

Alan Walker AS, the personal company of Norwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker, reported a significant decrease in operating revenue for the past year. Sales income fell from 51 million kroner in 2024 to 33 million kroner in 2025. This marks a reduction of 18 million kroner compared to the previous year.

Despite the lower revenue, the company distributed a substantial dividend of 40 million kroner. This payout exceeded the year's profit of approximately 21.9 million kroner, with the remaining 18.2 million kroner drawn from the company's accumulated equity. The dividend was slightly less than the previous year's payout, which included an additional dividend of 55 million kroner.

While sales income decreased, expenses were also reduced, falling from 42.6 million kroner in 2024 to 24 million kroner in 2025. The company's payroll costs saw a slight increase, from 1.9 million kroner to 2.4 million kroner, with one full-time employee.

Alan Walker AS is wholly owned by Alan Olav Walker. The broader World of Walker group, a joint venture between Walker and his manager Gunnar Greve, reported total operating revenues of 224.2 million kroner last year, with an annual result of 25.7 million kroner. Greve attributed the revenue drop in Alan Walker AS to "restructuring done in the companies" but declined further comment. Walker's company maintains a strong equity base of 96.7 million kroner.
