World number two Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, a significant blow for the event and fans eager to see the Spanish star in action.

Alcaraz has been sidelined since April with a right wrist injury, forcing him to miss major tournaments including the French Open and Wimbledon. His absence from Cincinnati, where he was the defending champion, marks a continued struggle with the injury that has disrupted his season.
