Allianz Life Syariah Indonesia wins Islamic insurance award

PT Asuransi Allianz Life Syariah Indonesia has been honored with the Excellence in Islamic Insurance Literacy and Inclusion Award at the Anugerah Syariah Republika (ASR) 2026. The event, organized by Republika, celebrates individuals, institutions, and industry players who significantly contribute to the advancement of the national sharia economy.

Elmie Aman Najas, the President Director of Allianz Life Syariah Indonesia, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. He stated that the award serves as a powerful motivator for the company to enhance its efforts in promoting the benefits and importance of Islamic insurance among the Indonesian public. "Thank you very much to Republika. This should give us more spirit to work even harder to ensure we spread more of the benefits and importance of sharia insurance to the Indonesian people," Najas said after receiving the award.

The ASR 2026 event carried the theme "Sharia for All: Beyond Profit, Toward Purpose," emphasizing that the sharia economy aims to deliver broader benefits to society, not solely business growth. The judging process was supported by an independent panel from Karim Consulting Indonesia. Additionally, the ASR 2026 incorporated a Reader's Choice award, which garnered 27,414 votes from May 15 to June 15, 2026, showing an increase in public participation compared to the previous year.
