Always Ready overcomes scares to win and keep first place

Always Ready secured a crucial 3-1 victory over San Antonio, solidifying their first-place position in the league. The win, achieved at the Estadio Municipal El Alto de Villa Ingenio, saw midfielder Fernando Saucedo emerge as the standout player, netting two goals with his head.

Saucedo opened the scoring in first-half added time with a header from a Darío Torrico cross. Despite Always Ready's early dominance and several missed opportunities, thwarted by San Antonio's goalkeeper Luca Giossa, the visitors managed to equalize in the second half. Rafael Menacho, who had earlier missed chances, found the net in the 65th minute to level the score.

However, Always Ready quickly regained the lead. Saucedo struck again in the 76th minute, this time from a corner kick by Joel Amoroso, to restore their advantage. Carlitos Rodríguez sealed the victory four minutes later with a well-placed shot after an assist from Enrique Triverio, bringing the final score to 3-1.

With this win, Always Ready extends their unbeaten run to 11 matches, accumulating 26 points from eight wins and two draws. San Antonio, meanwhile, remains in the lower half of the table, sitting third from last with 10 points.
