Always Ready rehires Pablo Godoy as fourth coach amid season instability

Always Ready has turned to a familiar face, rehiring Paraguayan coach Pablo Godoy to lead the first team. This marks the fourth managerial change for the Bolivian club this season, highlighting significant instability despite their current league leadership.

Godoy takes over from Mauricio Soria, who was dismissed after only a few months. The club's season began with Julio César Baldivieso, followed by Marcelo Straccia, who lasted only weeks. Godoy's return signifies a reliance on his past successes with the club.

In 2021, Godoy guided Always Ready through one of their most successful periods, achieving 13 wins, five draws, and only one loss in 19 official matches. His subsequent tenure in late 2022 was shorter, with two wins, two draws, and two losses in six games before his departure following a Copa Libertadores exit.

The team currently sits atop the league with 35 points, closely followed by Bolívar and The Strongest. Godoy's immediate challenge begins with a home match against Aurora on Thursday. The club faces the pressure to maintain its championship contention amidst ongoing coaching turnover.
