Ambulance and truck collide in Samsun, six injured

A collision between an ambulance and a TIR truck occurred at the Toybelen Industrial Junction on the Ankara road in Samsun, resulting in six minor injuries. The accident happened around 1:00 AM and involved a TIR truck transporting cigarettes and an ambulance carrying a patient.

The injured include the drivers of both vehicles, two healthcare personnel, the patient, and a patient's relative. All were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment after receiving initial medical attention at the scene.

Emergency services, including health, police, and fire brigades, responded to the incident. The TIR's fuel tank ruptured, spilling fuel onto the road. The highway, which was closed to traffic following the accident, was reopened after cleanup operations and the removal of the vehicles. An investigation into the cause of the crash has been initiated.
