Amedspor Sporting Director Resigns After Eight Days

Serkan Reçber has stepped down as Amedspor's sporting director, marking a swift departure just eight days after taking on the position. Reçber announced his resignation via his social media account, stating that disagreements over working principles and management philosophy necessitated his decision.

Reçber, who previously held a similar role at Beşiktaş, signed his contract with Amedspor on June 3 and began his duties the same day. His resignation on June 11 brings a brief tenure to a close.

In his statement, Reçber explained that he requested to be relieved of his duties due to "certain differences in opinion regarding working principles and management philosophy." He emphasized that the separation from the Diyarbakır-based club was amicable and without any financial demands.

Reçber extended his thanks to the club's management, staff, and fans for their support during his short time there. He concluded by expressing his hope that Amedspor will achieve long-term success in the Turkish Super Lig.
