América Femenil prepares for return to Estadio Banorte; entry is free for children with Eagles jerseys

América Femenil is set to make a triumphant return to the Estadio Banorte, formerly known as the Estadio Azteca, after an absence of two years, two months, and fifteen days. The "Águilas" (Eagles) moved to the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes during the renovation of their home stadium in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.

To commemorate their homecoming and celebrate a historic treble, winning the Liga MX Femenil Clausura 2026, the Concacaf W Champions Cup, and the Campeón de Campeones in 2026, América Femenil has organized a series of fan-focused events. The "Volvemos a Casa" (We're Coming Home) program includes free admission for children wearing "Águilas" jerseys to the upcoming Clásico Joven match on Saturday, August 8, at 4 PM Central Mexico time.

Additional activities include photo opportunities with the team's mascots and their three championship trophies. The first forty customers at the Ame Shop will get a Meet & Greet with two players, and a limited number of special champion patches will be given away. Sponsors will host raffles and activities, while some AmePass season ticket holders may have special access, such as meeting players in the tunnel or watching warm-ups from the field.

Despite their recent successes, the team, led by midfielder Nancy Antonio, emphasizes humility and commitment, stating there is "much road ahead." They view the return to Estadio Banorte as a significant motivation to continue their winning trajectory. The "Águilas" are eager to secure another victory against Cruz Azul after a strong start to the Apertura 2026 season, having defeated Santos Laguna in their opening match.
