American arrested for triple homicide in Saltillo; child rescued attempting to cross to Texas

Coahuila state prosecutors have arrested a 35-year-old American national, identified as Chad "N", in connection with the alleged murder of one man and two women in Saltillo. The suspect is also accused of abducting his young son from the residence, an act authorities believe is linked to domestic violence.

Following the discovery of the crime, a large-scale search operation was launched for the suspect and the child. This operation involved intelligence protocols, urban camera surveillance, and coordination among various security units. These efforts helped establish the attacker's identity, the vehicle he used, his escape route, and his likely destination.

Given the suspect's U.S. citizenship, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was alerted to prevent any attempt to flee into Texas. The suspect and the child were located in Piedras Negras as they were attempting to cross into the United States via an international bridge. The minor was rescued, and the alleged perpetrator was taken into custody and handed over to the Public Ministry.
