American Art Influencer Found Dead in São Paulo Hotel; Investigation Underway

American art influencer Hilde Lynn Helphenstein, known online as the "Gossip Girl of Art," was discovered dead in her room at the luxury Rosewood São Paulo hotel. The 40-year-old, who hailed from California, was found on Sunday, several hours after reports emerged of her behaving erratically.

Witnesses reported that Helphenstein had been seen wandering naked through the hotel's public areas the previous evening, causing a disturbance. Around the same time, she posted a video on social media where she appeared to struggle with speech and made fragmented remarks. In the video, she spoke of needing to "let the rich woman inside her fly."

Upon discovering her body, police noted an empty vodka bottle, a broken glass, and unidentified pills in the room. Helphenstein had reportedly traveled to Brazil for plastic surgery. Her death is being treated as suspicious, and authorities have launched an investigation. The hotel confirmed her death and stated they are cooperating fully with the police inquiry.
