"American Dad" characters invade Fortnite; release date announced

Fortnite players will soon be able to embody characters from the satirical animated series "American Dad: An American Family." The popular online game is set to release skins for the show's main protagonists, Stan Smith and Francine Smith, in an upcoming collaboration.

This crossover, a joint effort between Epic Games and the creators of "American Dad," promises to inject the show's irreverent humor and political satire into the Fortnite universe. The release is scheduled for July 3, much to the surprise and excitement of many fans.

The series, known for its sharp commentary on American nationalism and conservative politics, follows the life of CIA agent Stan Smith, his family, and their alien housemate. The Fortnite "American Dad" bundle will include not only the Stan and Francine outfits but also other thematic items such as "Klaus" and "Threat Level" backpacks, and "Rubber Dodo" and "Francine's Purse" pickaxes.
