In an era where mental health discussions dominate social media feeds, with terms like 'overthinking,' 'burnout,' and 'anxiety' becoming commonplace, the Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) is stepping forward to offer a formal academic response. While UBSI is widely recognized as a 'Creative Digital Campus' known for technology and computer science, many are unaware that it also hosts a robust Psychology program.

The Psychology program at UBSI operates under the Faculty of Health Sciences and seeks to address the growing public awareness and need for understanding mental well-being, human resource development, and the complexities of human behavior in the digital age. This initiative aims to provide a structured, scientific approach to psychology, distinguishing it from the often-casual use of psychological terms online.

Psychology is one of the most relevant fields of study today. Not only related to mental health, but also education, the world of work, human resource development, and various aspects of social life.

Rector Mochamad Wahyudi emphasized the increasing relevance of psychology graduates across various sectors. "Psychology is one of the most relevant fields of study today," he stated, noting its application beyond mental health to education, the workplace, human resource development, and social life. UBSI's program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive and professional understanding of human behavior.

Wahyudi further clarified that the curriculum extends beyond theoretical concepts of emotion and behavior. Students delve into diverse areas such as developmental psychology, social psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, educational psychology, and scientific research methods. This broad scope aims to dispel the misconception that psychology solely involves counseling or character reading, revealing its extensive application in understanding individual and group dynamics, decision-making processes, and the factors influencing human actions.
