Amilcar Petroleum Operations (APO), the operator of the Hasdrubal and Miskar Gas concessions, is actively recruiting for an Automation & Control Engineer at its Sfax facilities. The Automation & Control Engineer will report to the Lead Control & Automation Engineer and will oversee both onshore and offshore facilities. Key responsibilities include developing engineering design scopes, specifying and executing technical studies for optimized solutions, and maintaining automation asset procedures. The role also involves preparing scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and technical dossiers, ensuring all work adheres to quality standards, project schedules, and budgets.

Furthermore, the engineer will conduct engineering investigations, manage small to medium-sized projects, and ensure compliance with Management of Change procedures for all modifications. They will also administer Control and Safety Systems, assess and maintain the performance of alarm management systems, and provide troubleshooting expertise. Participation in HAZOP, P&ID reviews, SIL assessments, and risk assessments is also a key part of the role, alongside initiating and following up on procurement of control and automation equipment.
