Anadolu Efes announces signing of Dario Šarić

Anadolu Efes has made a significant move by securing Dario Šarić on a 2+1 year contract. This signing marks the return of the 32-year-old Croatian forward/center to Europe after a ten-year absence from the continent's top-tier basketball.

Šarić is no stranger to Efes, having played for the team during the 2014-2016 seasons. It was during this period that he began his journey at the highest level of European basketball before making the leap to the NBA.

In the NBA, Šarić played for multiple franchises, including the Philadelphia Sixers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings. Across his NBA career, he participated in 498 games, recording averages of 10.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Anadolu Efes celebrated the signing with a social media post, stating, "Some stories don't end, they just wait for the right time to start again." The club highlighted Šarić's previous tenure with them, during which he contributed to Turkish Cup and Presidential Cup victories.
