Andalusia launches short-term Umrah package

Andalusia Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. is introducing a short-term Umrah package starting at RM5,990, designed for working individuals who cannot take extended leave. This new offering aims to make the pilgrimage accessible to a wider range of people.

Ida Riswana Idris, Director and Legal Advisor for Andalusia, explained that the nine-day, seven-night package provides a comfortable pilgrimage experience. It includes flights with Malaysia Airlines and accommodation for four nights in Mecca and three nights in Medina at mid-range hotels. "We are trying to offer a shorter package for those who cannot take long leave. With this price, I think it is very worthwhile for those who want to perform Umrah in a short period but still comfortably," she said.

This initiative is part of Andalusia's efforts to boost demand for the new Umrah season, which begins in Muharram. By offering more options, the company hopes to cater to the diverse needs of prospective pilgrims. The package includes round-trip flights, three daily meals, guidance from experienced mutawifs, Umrah visas, and souvenirs.

The promotion for this package is available until the end of the month, subject to flight availability. During the departure ceremony for a group of pilgrims, Andalusia noted that 91 individuals departed for the Holy Land, including 47 people associated with cosmetic entrepreneurs Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman and Datin Seri Nur Shahida Mohd.
