Andalusia records 43,000 Umrah pilgrims, aims for 80,000 in 1448H season

Andalusia Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. has reported a strong start to the 1448H/2026 Umrah season, with 43,000 pilgrims having registered and paid their deposits as of the month of Rabiulawal. This significant number places the travel agency firmly on course to achieve its ambitious target of 80,000 pilgrims for the current season.

Ida Riswana Idris, the Director and Legal Advisor for Andalusia, expressed optimism about the registration figures. She noted that the company hopes to maintain this positive momentum throughout the remainder of the Umrah season. "At the beginning of the season, we were a bit concerned due to the geopolitical situation, the state of war, and so on, because we thought people would be afraid to travel," Idris said.
