Andersson Takes Pole, Torrente Wins Second Sprint at F1H2O Issyk-Kul Stage

The first day of the F1H2O World Championship stage on Issyk-Kul concluded with Jonas Andersson claiming pole position. The three-time world champion from Team Abu Dhabi set the fastest time in qualifying, clocking 48.778 seconds. He finished 0.738 seconds ahead of current world champion Shaun Torrente of Victory Team, with Alex Wreström securing third place.

Andersson continued his strong performance by winning the first sprint race. Starting from pole, he maintained his lead throughout the race. His teammate Erik Stark finished second, and Sami Seliö took third. Sharjah Team faced challenges, with Rashed Wyatt recovering from a last-place start after an engine change to finish sixth, while his teammate Grant Trask was disqualified due to boat damage.

In the second sprint race, Shaun Torrente of Victory Team took the victory. Torrente established a significant lead early on and held it until the finish line, earning maximum points. Alex Wreström finished second. Rashid Al-Qemzi initially placed third but was demoted after a penalty for a false start, resulting in Stefan Arand being classified third.
