Andrea Becerra targets a second world title and Olympic berth in 2027

Andrea Becerra has become accustomed to the expectations that come with being the world’s top-ranked archer. The Mexican says the biggest tests of her career may come in 2027, when she will pursue Olympic qualification while defending her world crown.

Her first target is securing Mexico’s place at the Pan American Games through the national selection event. “For 2027, I see myself first seeking the place for the Pan American Games. We already have it as a country, but we have to win it at the national selection event,” Becerra told EL UNIVERSAL Deportes.
