ANEM: Alo, Informer and their affiliates receive nearly 100 million dinars from first 100 media tenders

Serbia's Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) has revealed that nearly 100 million dinars have been allocated to the tabloid publishers Alo and Informer from the first 100 completed media tenders for project financing in 2026. ANEM highlighted that these outlets are recognized as "record holders for violating the Code of Journalists of Serbia."

On the basis of the 100 completed tenders for project financing of media content in Serbia for 2026, funds totaling more than one billion dinars have been distributed.

Across the first 100 tenders, over one billion dinars have been distributed. ANEM noted that three local self-governments are still late in publishing their tenders for the year. The analysis indicates that Radiotelevizija Pančevo received the largest single amount, nearly 31.5 million dinars, followed by Kopernikus Cable Network and Zona Plus from Niš.

Looking by ownership, the most funds went to the publishers of the tabloids Alo and Informer, who are record holders for violating the Code of Journalists of Serbia - Alo media system and Insajder tim together with their daughter companies.

However, when examining ownership, Alo media system and Insajder tim, along with their subsidiary companies, collectively received 98.7 million dinars. Their joint subsidiary, Best Media Team, which has acquired several local media outlets this year, has secured over 49 million dinars from media tenders so far. Additionally, media outlets owned or co-owned by individuals like Radoica Milosavljević and Goran Lalić have also received substantial funding. Zaple Media Group, which launched several local media outlets this year with Gradimir Banković as editor-in-chief, received 6.6 million dinars for four projects. The recently established Association of Independent Journalists also received funding.
