Anies Baswedan Prays for Exposure of Crimes Against the People

While performing the umrah pilgrimage in Medina, Saudi Arabia, former Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan offered a prayer for the "exposure of the shame" of those who secretly conspire to commit crimes against the people.

May Allah shake and expose the shame of those who plot to commit crimes against the people.

In a video shared on his personal Instagram account, Baswedan, who was a presidential candidate in the 2024 election, expressed his hope that those who sincerely uphold justice would be granted strength. He prayed, "May Allah shake and expose the shame of those who plot to commit crimes against the people."

Baswedan, who previously served as the Minister of Education and Culture, also prayed for Indonesia's continued protection, prosperity, and welfare. He specifically invoked divine assistance to establish justice for the vulnerable and marginalized citizens of the nation.

Concluding his prayers, Baswedan asked for strength for those facing physical or mental hardship and for relief for those experiencing economic difficulties. He also prayed for peace of mind for those uncertain about their future.
