Anitta's new tour kicks off with meditation and no alcohol sales during pre-show

Brazilian superstar Anitta has kicked off her 'Equilibrivm Tour' in Porto Alegre with an unconventional approach, prioritizing holistic well-being and temporarily suspending alcohol sales. This unique concert experience aims to immerse attendees in a spiritual and introspective atmosphere, mirroring the artist's current personal journey.

Upon entering the venue, dubbed Vila Equilivrium, fans were invited to participate in free holistic therapies and self-care activities. These included guided meditation sessions, circular dances for connection, sound therapy, and even tarot and astrological chart readings. The concept was designed by Anitta to offer a space for connection and deceleration before the main performance.

Initially, the temporary ban on alcohol sales during these pre-show activities sparked some criticism among fans in Brazil. However, Anitta took to social media to clarify that the restriction was solely tied to the nature of the holistic programming and would be lifted once the Vila activities concluded, before the concert officially began.

The 'Equilibrivm Tour' is an extension of a conceptual project Anitta launched in April, further developed with her recent album 'Equilibrivm II.' These works delve into themes of spirituality, ancestry, and identity, with Anitta describing them as the most personal and authentic of her career. The albums celebrate Brazilian culture through a fusion of genres like bossa nova, samba, reggae, funk, and forró, incorporating autobiographical elements and her worldview.
