Another Voivodeship Introduces Tourist Check: 300 Zloty Subsidy for Overnight Stays

The Lublin Voivodeship is introducing the "Lubelskie Tourist Check," a new initiative designed to boost tourism by offering a 300 Polish Zloty subsidy for overnight stays. Starting in September 2026, tourists from across Poland can utilize this check to plan holidays in the picturesque region, known for its natural beauty and attractions.

The program encourages visitors to book at least two nights, with the 300 PLN subsidy effectively returning to their pockets. This initiative aims to showcase the region's diverse offerings, from Roztocze and Polesie to the Loess Ravine Landscape, while simultaneously supporting local entrepreneurs. The regional authorities emphasize that Lubelskie is an attractive destination year-round, not just during the summer holidays.

Eligible participants, who must be adult Polish citizens, can generate their checks through the dedicated online system lubelskiczekturystyczny.pl. The distribution is planned in three phases between September and November 2026, with a limited number of checks available, and each person can only use the subsidy once. The program officially begins on September 1 and runs until the end of November.

Accommodation providers in the Lublin Voivodeship can register for the program starting August 24. This includes hotels, guesthouses, and agritourism farms registered with the Marshal's Office and local authorities. The Marshal's Office of the Lublin Voivodeship has allocated 1.5 million PLN for the program's realization.

This initiative follows similar successful programs in other Polish regions. The Podlaskie Voivodeship pioneered the tourist check last year, experiencing overwhelming demand. The Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship also launched a similar subsidy program in late September 2025, and other regions are following suit.
