Anses Non-Contributory Pensions: When August Payments Will Be Made

Beneficiaries of non-contributory pensions (PNC) in Argentina are set to receive an adjusted payment for August 2026. The adjustment amounts to 1.89%, reflecting the inflation recorded in June, which stood at 1.9%. This monthly update uses inflation percentages with two decimal places to determine the precise updated value.

As is customary, PNC payments are disbursed during the second week of each month. The schedule is staggered according to the last digit of the beneficiaries' national identification numbers (DNI). This payment cycle, along with minimum pensions and the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), initiates the monthly payment schedule for the National Social Security Administration (Anses).

For August 2026, PNC payments will be processed from Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14. The specific dates are as follows: DNI ending in 0 and 1 will be paid on August 10; 2 and 3 on August 11; 4 and 5 on August 12; 6 and 7 on August 13; and 8 and 9 on August 14.

In addition to the adjusted pension amounts, PNC beneficiaries will receive a $70,000 bonus. This bonus is paid directly with the pension installments and is primarily intended for those receiving the minimum pension, as well as holders of PNC and the Universal Pension for Older Adults (PUAM). For beneficiaries whose pensions exceed the minimum, the bonus is prorated. The total amount, including the pension and the bonus, is capped. It is important to note that while the monthly pension adjustment is tied to inflation, the $70,000 bonus has remained unchanged since March 2024, potentially reducing the effective increase for some recipients.
