Argentina: August Pension Payments for Retirees with DNI Ending in 6 Announced

Argentine retirees and pensioners whose national identity documents (DNI) end in the number 6 are scheduled to receive their August payments according to the national social security administration (Anses) payment calendar. Those receiving minimum pensions will get their payments on August 19, while holders of non-contributory pensions (PNC) will be paid on August 13.

For those whose pensions exceed the minimum amount, payments are set for August 28. This schedule ensures an orderly distribution of funds throughout the month. Anses also announced a 1.89% adjustment to pensions, reflecting June's inflation rate of 1.9%. This monthly adjustment mechanism is based on precise inflation percentages.

Beneficiaries receiving minimum pensions will get a $70,000 bonus, a figure that has remained consistent for over two years. This bonus is also provided proportionally to those with higher pensions, up to a certain cap. The updated pension amounts include adjustments for the minimum pension, contributory pensions, the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM), and various non-contributory pensions.
