Antam Gold Price Rises to Rp 2.66 Million per Gram

The price of gold from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, or Antam gold, increased by Rp 5,000 per gram on Saturday, June 27, 2026, reaching Rp 2,660,000. Despite the modest rise, the current price remains lower than that of the previous week. Yesterday, Friday, June 26, 2026, the price was Rp 2,655,000 per gram, while last Saturday it stood at Rp 2,668,000 per gram.

Antam gold prices have been on a downward trend since early June, starting at Rp 2,779,000 per gram on June 1. The all-time high for gold prices was recorded at Rp 3,168,000 on January 29, 2025. The buyback price for Antam gold bars also saw an increase of Rp 38,000, reaching Rp 2,378,000 per gram on Saturday.

Globally, gold prices were around US$4,087 per ounce on Saturday, up from approximately US$4,040 per ounce on Friday. This uptick was attributed to recent US inflation data aligning with expectations, leading investors to slightly lower their projections for Federal Reserve interest rate hikes this year. However, gold prices still experienced a roughly 3 percent drop over the week, marking the fourth consecutive weekly decline, influenced by the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance and a strengthening US dollar. New Fed Chair Kevin Warsh reiterated the central bank's commitment to controlling inflation, easing market concerns about potential interest rate cuts under pressure from President Donald Trump. The Federal Reserve also raised its inflation projection for 2026.
