Antam Gold Price Rises to Rp2.67 Million Per Gram on Sunday

The price of Antam gold in Jakarta saw an increase on Sunday, reaching Rp2,670,000 per gram as of 10:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. This marks a rise from the previous day's price of Rp2,651,000 per gram.

Despite the increase in the gold price, the buyback price for Antam gold remained unchanged, holding steady at Rp2,429,000 per gram. This suggests a divergence between the selling and repurchase values for the precious metal.

Antam's gold bullion prices are subject to change without notice. The company also enforces tax deductions on sales transactions, in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Finance regulations (PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017). These deductions apply to all gold types ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams. For resales exceeding Rp10 million, a 1.5 percent Income Tax (PPh) is levied on Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders, and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. This tax is deducted directly from the buyback value.
