Antonelli Wins Chaotic Monaco Grand Prix, Extends Winning Streak to Five

Nineteen-year-old Kimi Antonelli demonstrated remarkable composure to win a chaotic Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, extending his flawless winning streak to five races this season. The young Italian, driving for Mercedes, started from pole position and built a substantial lead before a red flag halted the race due to a crumbling surface at the final corner, following a crash involving Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.

After a lengthy delay for repairs, the race restarted with a standing start. Antonelli, unfazed by the disruption, navigated the restart flawlessly to become the youngest-ever winner of the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix. His victory marks a significant milestone, as he was not yet born the last time an Italian, Jarno Trulli in 2004, won the iconic race.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton secured second place, marking his second consecutive Grand Prix podium finish. Red Bull's Isack Hadjar provisionally claimed third, although he faces scrutiny for potential infringements during the race. Hamilton's strong performance allowed him to surpass Antonelli's teammate George Russell in the standings, now trailing Antonelli by 66 points.
