APC reps candidate pledges development for Ekiti constituents

Ibrahim Olarewaju, the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti North II Federal Constituency, has reiterated his commitment to fostering human capital development and advancing the interests of his constituents and the broader Ekiti populace. Olarewaju, formerly a Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on National Assembly Matters, vowed to implement programs and projects that enhance youth development and align educational needs with strategic investments.

His pledge came during the inauguration of a state-of-the-art 350-seater Computer-Based Test (CBT) center at his former school, Ansar-Ud-Deen Islamic Secondary School in Otun-Ekiti. The event also marked the foundation stone laying for a comprehensive Science and Technology Laboratory block, a donation from Olarewaju and his siblings in memory of their late parents.

The CBT center, conceived by the school's alumni, is designed to offer hands-on digital training to students while creating a sustainable revenue stream for the institution. Olarewaju, who also serves as the National Organizing Secretary of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, facilitated a partnership with private investors who financed and equipped the facility. Ownership will eventually transfer to the school after the investors recoup their investment.

Olarewaju emphasized the center's significance for youth advancement and community development. He stated his dedication to equipping young people in his constituency with the digital and scientific skills necessary to thrive in a competitive global economy. The newly commissioned CBT center is expected to position Ansar-Ud-Deen Islamic Secondary School as a regional hub for academic excellence and technological innovation.
