APC youth leaders hail minister's appointment to presidential campaign council

Youth leaders from Nigeria's All Progressives Congress (APC) have enthusiastically endorsed the inclusion of Youth Development Minister Ayodele Olawande in the Presidential Campaign Council for the upcoming 2027 elections. Olawande's appointment as the Director of Youth Mobilisation is being celebrated by the party's youth wing across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory as a strategic and fitting decision.

The Forum of 37 APC State Youth Leaders, in a statement released on Monday, congratulated Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari on his appointment as the Director-General of the campaign council. The forum expressed its commitment to collaborating with Minister Olawande to ensure the presidential campaign effectively reaches all segments of the country, particularly at the grassroots level.

According to the statement, Olawande's prior experience as a Youth Leader in Ondo State has provided him with a deep understanding of grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and political coordination.
