Archer’s all-round display fires Rajasthan into IPL playoffs

Rajasthan Royals clinched the last available spot in the Indian Premier League playoffs with a decisive 30-run victory over Mumbai Indians on Sunday. The match saw English fast bowler Jofra Archer emerge as the star performer, contributing significantly with both bat and ball.

He dismissed veteran opener Rohit Sharma for a duck in the opening over and followed up by bowling Naman Dhir. Archer further tightened his grip on the match by taking the crucial wicket of Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya, finishing with impressive figures of 3-17. Despite a valiant 60 from Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai could only manage 175-9 in their allotted 20 overs.
