Archery League: Hansu Group and Aishanlin Set for Top-of-the-Table Clash This Weekend

The 8th Corporate Archery League in Taiwan ignites this weekend with a highly anticipated match-up between the leading teams, Hansu Group and Aishanlin. The competition, resuming after a two-month break, will feature a direct clash for supremacy at the New Taipei City Xinzhuang Sports Park.

Both Hansu Group and Aishanlin stand at the top of the league standings, each having accumulated 7 points. Hansu Group secured a draw in their opening match against New Taipei Kaizer and followed up with a victory over Changhua Bank. Their archer, Xie Peijuan, has shown excellent form, defeating notable opponents like Lei Qianying and last season's undefeated champion Qiu Yiqing.

Aishanlin is led by Lin Zixiang, a national team member who competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Lin has also achieved two consecutive individual wins, including a close 6-5 victory over Olympic teammate Dai Yuxuan of Kaizer. Zhang Tingyu, a versatile female archer for Aishanlin, has proven to be a valuable asset, contributing to wins in women's singles, mixed doubles, and women's team events.

The league is also a critical platform for national team athletes preparing for the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, this September. Archery, particularly the newly introduced compound bow category, will feature national team members who are honing their skills in the corporate league. Spectators are welcome to attend the matches free of charge, offering a final opportunity to support the athletes before the major international competition.

Following the headline match on Saturday, other fixtures include New濠 Construction facing New Taipei Kaizer, and Changhua Bank competing against the Association Youth team. Sunday's schedule features Association Youth versus Kaizer, Hansu Group against New濠 Construction, and Changhua Bank playing Aishanlin. All matches will be broadcast live on the league's official YouTube channel.
