Areas Affected by ECG's Planned Maintenance on July 7, 2026

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled a series of planned maintenance exercises across several regions, aiming to improve service delivery. On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, power outages are expected in multiple areas within the Ashanti, Central, and Accra West regions.

In the Ashanti Region, interruptions are slated to run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm, affecting communities such as Kumawu, Oyoko, Banko, and Konongo Low Cost, among many others. The Central Region will experience outages from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, impacting areas like Kpomotey, Ashalaja, and Denchira. In the Accra West Region, maintenance is scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, affecting Mayera, Manchie, and Old Weija.

Additionally, emergency maintenance was scheduled for Monday, July 6, in the Accra West Region, impacting areas including Saint John, Pentecost University, and Beach Road. Meanwhile, customers in the Tema Region are facing unplanned outages due to network faults, affecting areas like Baatsonaa and K Ofori Apartment. ECG assured that engineers are working to restore supply as quickly as possible and apologized for any inconvenience caused, advising customers to make alternative arrangements.
