Argentina moves forward with U.S. purchase of 235 Stryker armored vehicles for its Army

Argentina has taken a significant step in modernizing its military capabilities with the formalization of an agreement to purchase 235 Stryker armored vehicles from the United States. The signing of the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) marks the official acceptance of the U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program offer, paving the way for the vehicles' transfer.

The agreement was executed by key defense figures, including Argentina's Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Alberto Presti, and the U.S. Ambassador to Argentina, Peter Lamelas.
