Argentina's La Chocolaterie Fair to Blend Chocolate and World Cup Fever

Buenos Aires will host the sixth edition of La Chocolaterie, a fair dedicated to the world of chocolate, on June 27-28 at La Rural. This year's event will feature over 120 exhibitors and a special theme inspired by the upcoming World Cup, promising a unique blend of cacao and football fever.

The fair aims to be a sweet prelude to the football calendar, offering a wide array of chocolate experiences. Attendees can expect artisanal chocolate, bean-to-bar products, signature alfajores, hand-painted bonbons, and options catering to various dietary needs, including vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free varieties. The event will also showcase single-origin bars, tastings, visual installations, and a focus on innovation within the chocolate industry.

A significant draw this year is the intersection of chocolate and football. Two standout products will be the "Scaloneta" chocolate bar by La Fille des Chocolats and a life-size chocolate football crafted by Thionis Chocolates. The fair will also feature "albiceleste" brigadeiros, chocolate medals and cups, sky-blue donuts, cookies inspired by the Argentine national team, and themed figures, all designed to be shared and gifted during the World Cup matches.

Beyond the World Cup theme, La Chocolaterie 2026 will explore adventurous flavor combinations. Attendees can discover unusual creations such as chocolate with blood sausage, gochujang, and even fish. A central installation will feature a giant chocolate World Cup trophy being made live, adding a visually striking element to the fair. The event promises over 120 ways to experience chocolate, from classic preparations to contemporary creations.
