National Deputy Miguel Ángel Pichetto has asserted that Vice President Victoria Villarruel will launch her own presidential bid in the 2027 elections, running independently of President Javier Milei's La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party.

Pichetto, a prominent figure in Argentine politics, suggested that Villarruel aims to represent a different segment of the electorate than the one currently supporting the officialist LLA. Pichetto also weighed in on the political maneuvering in Buenos Aires, commenting on Patricia Bullrich's potential mayoral candidacy. He expressed a firm opinion that Bullrich would not succeed in the race for the city's mayorship. "There is no place for Bullrich because they will not give her the City," he declared, suggesting that a ticket featuring Diego Santilli, possibly with Pilar Ramírez, represents a more trusted option for the capital.
